Vale do Capão is located 18 Km south of Palmeiras and 26 Km from the Highway BR 242. That's about 450 Km from Salvador on BR 242 Salvador-Brasília in the State of Bahia, Brazil. It takes about 7 hours to go from Salvador to Palmeiras with the bus company Real Expresso. The International Airport of Lençóis is located 70 Km from Vale do Capão. We are at an altitude of 1000 m above sea level, on the boundaries of Chapada Diamantina National Park and at the heart of the State of Bahia.
